Devanāgarī
तदा ददर्शासुरमेकमीशं किरीटिनं वज्रधरं महान्तम्।
अश्रूणि रक्तौघशतानि मातुः सङ्गृह्य पुष्णन्तमपत्यसङ्घान्॥
Anvaya
तदा एकं किरीटिनम्, वज्रधरम्, महान्तम्, ईशम् असुरं मातुः रक्तौधशतानि अश्रूणि सगृह्य अपत्यसङ्घान् पुष्णन्तं ददर्श।
Meaning
तदा - tadā - then; एकं - ekaṁ - a/one; किरीटिनम् - kirīṭinam - crowned; वज्रधरम् - vajradharam - bearing a thunderbolt; महान्तम् - mahāntam - colossal; ईशम् - īśam - King/Lord; असुरं - asuraṁ - Demon; मातुः - mātuḥ - of the Mother; रक्तौधशतानि - raktaudhaśatāni - a hundred streams of blood; अश्रूणि - aśrūṇi - tears; सगृह्य - sagṛhya - (having) mixed; अपत्यसङ्घान् - apatyasaṅghān - hordes of his offspring; पुष्णन्तं - puṣṇantaṁ - feeding; ददर्श - dadarśa - I did see;
Sanskrit
तदा मम नेत्रपथम् आगतः कश्चित् मुकुटधारी, वज्रहस्तः, महाकायः असुरराजः यः मातुः अश्रुमिश्रितं रक्तं निःशेषं गृहीत्वा तेन स्वसन्तानवृन्दं पोषयति स्म।
English Interpretation
Then did I see a lordly Titan; crowned, gigantic, bearing a thunderbolt, feeding the hordes of his offspring with the tears of the Mother mixed with a hundred streams of her blood.
