Dear Sir

My best wishes on the occasion the Vivekananda Rock Memorial inauguration. I wish full success for the elaborate program projected by the Committee in this connection. I am sorry I am physically disabled from participating in this great function for reasons which you are all quite aware of.

When Swami Vivekananda saw the Rock south of the Cape amidst the boisterous waves lashing on it he could not resist the urge to swim and sit on the Rock facing North meditating on the greatness of the country before him and its future under God's grace. May the Memorial that has been constructed vie with the memorial Swamiji had constructed for himself by his work and the everlasting inspiration that has been given to all people of India.

Yours sincerely

(C. Rajgopalachari)
