Devanāgarī
कान्तैश्च शृङ्गारयुतैश्च हृष्टो गानैः स छन्दो ललितं बबन्ध।
जगौ च कान्तावदनं सहास्यं पूज्ये च मातुश्चरणे गरिष्ठे॥२॥
Anvaya
हृष्टः सः [अहं] शृङ्गारयुतैः कान्तैः गानैः च ललितं छन्दः बबन्ध, सहास्यं कान्तावदनं च मातुः पूज्ये, गरिष्ठे चरणे च जगौ।
Meaning
हृष्ट - hṛṣṭaḥ - (my) delight; सः [अहं] - saḥ [ahaṁ] - that (I); शृङ्गारयुतैः - śṛṅgārayutaiḥ - of sensuous passion; कान्तैः - kāntaiḥ - elegant; गानैः च - gānaiḥ ca - and verse; ललितं - lalitaṁ - lyrical; छन्दः - chandaḥ - stanzas; बबन्ध - babandha - I shaped; सहास्यं - sahāsyaṁ - the smile; कान्तावदनं च - kāntāvadanaṁ ca - (on) my beloved's face; मातुः - mātuḥ - of the Mother; पूज्ये - pūjye - the revered; गरिष्ठे - gariṣṭhe - most sacred; चरणे - caraṇe - feet; च - ca - and; जगौ - jagau - I sang;
Sanskrit
परमानन्दितः अहं शृङ्गार-रसान्वित-कान्तकोमल-गानैः ललित-छन्दांसि अरचयम्, पत्न्याः सुस्मितवदनस्य स्तुतिम् अकरवम्, जनन्याः पूजनीय-गौरवमण्डित-चरणयुगलस्य स्तुतिम् अपि अगायम्।
English Interpretation
I shaped my delight into elegant verse in lyrical stanzas of sensuous passion; I sang of the smile on my beloved's face and of the revered and most sacred feet of the Mother.

पूजनीय माता के पावन चरणों में
मैं झूम-झूम कर,गा-गा कर
बस बना रहा था ललित छंद श्रृंगार लिये,
और प्रिया के मंजुल मुख की स्तुति में मैंने गान किये॥
